The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has felicitated with the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the 2024 Ramadan fast and celebration Eid-el-Fitri.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, on Tuesday night in a terse statement on behalf of FEC urged the Muslim faithful to continue to reflect on the lessons of the fast which include love, sacrifice, endurance, obedience and compassion.

Akume in the statement signed on his behalf by Mr Segun Imohiosen, Director, Information, in his office also urged Nigerians to be optimistic in their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and to continue to promote national unity, peaceful co-existence for stability, development and growth of the nation.

Similarly, the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has felicitated with Muslims across the country on the occasion of this year’s Eid el-Fitr signifying the end of the 2024 Ramadan fast; one of the major tenets of Islam.

The National Chairman of IPAC and Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, in a statement on Tuesday, urged Muslims and all Nigerians to imbibe the lessons of Ramadan, which were piety, love, peace, sacrifice, tolerance, charity and fairness to all.

He said that as the umbrella body of all registered political parties in Nigeria, IPAC was determined in deepening democracy in the country, and urged Nigerians to set aside all differences in the quest for a better society.
