The Acting Rector of Federal Polytechnic Idah, Kogi State, Dr David Danjuma Baba, has said that the institution’s internally generated revenue sources will be revitalized to meet some of its funding needs. 

The acting rector, who said this in an interview at Idah, identified inadequate funding as one of the major challenges facing the desired development and progress of the polytechnic in particular and tertiary education in the country in general. 

He however said that the little resources generated were being utilized prudently to meet the infrastructural and academic needs of the polytechnic, adding that he has been able to provide street lighting on the campus since he assumed office few months ago.
