Fela!, a celebration of the life and times of Fela Aniakulapo Kuti was filmed live at the Olivier Theatre in London and is winner of three Tony awards including best choreography.

Fela!, through the artiste’s pioneering music, unfolds the controversial musician’s life as an artiste and political activist.

Organisers state that, “The event is part of the British Council’s way of showcasing the best of UK creativity overseas while working with the best of creative talent to develop innovative events and collaborations.”
