Female students honour VC

Presenting the plaque to the vice chancellor, president of the association, Miss. Funmi Farinde, described the VC as a role model for accountability in public service.
Farinde said University of Ilorin was among the few public universities in the country that had not been involved in the incessant strikes for the past 12 years.
She also commended the vice chancellor for addressing the problems of accommodation and transportation in the institution.
Receiving the award on behalf of the VC, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Management Services), Professor Yisa Fakunle, expressed delight for the honour done to his boss.
Fakunle said the institution has placed emphasis on good conduct, decent dressing and zero tolerance for cultism and other vices.
