#Bankrolling: Fani-Kayode Withdraws “Stupid” After Assault On Journalist
Why Fani-Kayode Assaulted Me — Daily Trust Reporter
During the round-table, Charles asked Fani-Kayode who was bankrolling his recent trips around Nigeria but the ex-minister responded with a raised voice, hurling insults on Charles and threatened to inflict bodily harm on him after the cameras stopped rolling.
Below are some of the reactions that trailed FFK’s actions:
@Yetundemee The question no warrant the insults at all. The video posted by @toluogunlesi was one side of the coin, this has given the other.

Its disgraceful he blew his lot like that , whatever the journalist had to ask that question shouldnt mean much to him , he was expected to control himself , better leaders have faced worsed questions and ignored them , anger should not control your words

It seems like the question hits him hard and he has no answers to it. So he came up with the brawl. Our politicians and their antics???

For me, Fani had already dipped himself in a hot soup by boasting that as a former Minister he can never be bankrupt. What doest this mean to you pls? For me it means he bastardly enriched himself during his time as a minister. And I ask, how clean was his wealth?

Meet Fani-Kayode @realFFK first nigerian former minister to be upset because he can’t answer a question by @daily_trust reporter in 1980 pic.twitter.com/G3ZDl1rDvJ

The reporter has every right to ask him any question provided the question is not abusive. Fani-Kayode answer the question!!! You’re not better than any other man in Nigeria…its just an opportunity to plunder our wealth

Poor Femi Fani Kayode, he does not have control of his temper. His reaction is the answer to the question he was asked; A Hausa man would say ” me ya kawo maganar rami idan ba rami?” If Fani Kayode is genuine I don’t see how those questions will enrage him.
