The President of Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN), Dr Omede Idris has commended the Federal Government for the recent approval for certification of all professionals within and outside the country by relevant professional regulatory body, before they are allowed to practice in Nigeria.
APBN President Dr C. A. Ezeagu stated this during his investiture as the Chairman of APBN Anambra State Chapter, last week.
He said this has been a long time expectation of APBN and various professional bodies.
The APBN president called on the various regulatory bodies to seize this opportunity to sanitize the professions.
He said, “Doing these, will put more check on quackery.”
He commended the Federal Government policy document on the use of made in Nigeria goods and services, calling on government and the people to be sincere, patriotic and institutionalize this current resolve and approval in the overall interest of the country.
