FG confers CON award on Idikisime-Olunwa

President Muhammadu Buhari has conferred the award of Commander of Order of the Niger (CON) on HRM, King Dr. Goddy Idaminabo Idikisime-Olunwa, the Amayanabo of Kala-Ogoloma Kingdom, Port Harcourt Local Government, Rivers State.

In a letter signed by the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Buhari gave the approval in recognition of his immense contributions to national development, unity and commitment to national cohesion, as well as his patriotic zeal in discharge of duties.

The news of the award was received well by Idikisime-Olunwa who appreciated Buhari’s recognition of the Amayanabo and the people of the state.

Idikisime-Olunwa, who is a former President and Chairman of the Council, Chartered Institute of Administration, is the President of the Institute of Fraud Examiners and the Founder/President of African Business School.

The Kingdom of Kala Ogoloma is the sub-clan of Ogoloma-speaking people of Okrika Nation in the land that has now become Port Harcourt City of Rivers State.

The creation of this Kingdom and the subsequent coronation of Idikisime-Olunwa JP on October 14, 2017 as the King by His Majesty, the Amanyanabo of Ancient Ogoloma, King E.T.I. Obudibo (Ikwo V), was a major leap for the Okrika nation to reclaim its pride of place in Rivers State.
