FG inaugurates 2015 climate change conference c’ttee

The 9-man committee headed by the permanent secretary of the ministry, Mrs. Nana Fatima Mede, has Mr. Peter Tarfa as secretary.
The terms of reference of the committee include coordination of national preparation towards Paris COP 21/CMP11; articulating and developing the country’s negotiation position; assemble and train a technical team of negotiations for the country; convening meetings of the Inter-ministerial committee on climate change and the preparation and submission of a comprehensive report of COP 21.
