The federal government has gotten approvals to take loans running into billions of dollars to fight COVID-19 pandemic as well as augment the 2020 budget.

The latest is the approval of $5.5 billion by the Senate to augment the 2020 budget.

I therefore call on the government to ensure that all these loans are effectively utilized for the overall good of the Nigerian populace.

The foreign loans being obtained are not windfalls or largesse that should be mismanaged by government officials.
