The Office of the Surveyor General of the Federation (OSGOF) has said it is partnering with South Surveying and Mapping Technology Company Limited of China on practical application of surveying and mapping equipment in Nigeria.
In a statement, the Head of Press, OSGOF, Mrs. Okeke G.A.O, said the revelation was made during an interactive session between OSGOF and the company in Abuja.
The Surveyor General of the Federation (SGOF), Ebisintei Audu, commended the Chinese delegation who also taught OSGOF officials how best they can use surveying technology to tackle common problems such as kidnapping, car snatching, combating crimes and other social vices.
The Chinese firm also demonstrated how to track the location of any targeted object through the use of smart maps.
