The Federal Government has partnered with Reckitt Benckiser (RB) Nigeria, makers of Mortein insecticide brand, to eradicate malaria in the country.
Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, in a statement said that this year’s campaign was aimed at drawing significant attention to the need to totally eradicate malaria in the country.
He commended Mortein for its work and continuous support in the fight against malaria through its collaboration with the government.
Marketing Manager Mortein, RB West Africa, Bamigbaiye-Elatuyi Omotola stated that Mortein has been at the fore front of the fight against malaria in Nigeria adding that the company intended to take a step further by having doctors in markets to do free malaria test and consultation in cities with high prevalence across the country.
