The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, has tasked members of the Committee on Dubai Expo 2021 to expedite action in ensuring Nigeria’s participation at the event is of highest priority for the best result.
Dr. Gwarzo stated this while inaugurating the committee recently in Abuja.

He urged the Committee to expedite preparation for Nigeria’s participation at the event slated for 1st October, 2021 to 31st March 2022.
The said the members were carefully selected and based on their vast experience and knowledge, adding that the Committee is to work with the Consultant to achieve maximum results.
“I hereby wish to inaugurate the Committee and it is my hope that the work of this team will be celebrated at the end of the Dubai 2021 Expo.”
The Director, Trade and Co-Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Aliyu Abubakar, said members of the Committee would do its best to deliver on their mandate in order to justify the confidence reposed in them.
The Expo was scheduled for October 2020 but rescheduled due to COVID-19, to last from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
