Dr Bulama disclosed this in Abuja when he received in his office the Iranian ambassador to Nigeria, Amb. Seheed Kwozechi.
According to him, Nigeria and Iran have so many things in common and for that reason have so much to mutually benefit if both countries cooperate and develop a new level of partnership in science and technology.
He noted that Iran has progressed to enviable heights in science education and Nigeria is determined to sustain the progress recorded by the Jonathan administration in research and innovations by agencies under the ministry.
This informed the new National Science, Technology and Innovation (ST&I) Policy that is geared towards placing Nigeria prominently on the global science and technology map, he said.
