It also said that the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) is currently being restructured to meet up with its mass housing projects nationwide.
President Goodluck Jonathan made this revelation last week while commissioning a Police housing project at Idimu in Lagos.
  Toward this end, he advised all government agencies to partner with the private sector in order to key into the Federal Government Housing for all initiative.
“The moment the World Bank loan is secured it will go a long way in the attainment of the nation’s goal for mass housing scheme.
“Government agencies should partner with the public/private sector in order to guarantee welfare of the citizenry” he added.
He commended the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Abubakar for being able to take housing project for both serving and retired officers, adding that the 200 units of 3-bed room flat will provide better housing for personnel.
“We will replicate this in all parts of the country. You can see what is happening at the Police College, Ikeja” he said.
