The federal government has been urged to prioritize projects on agriculture infrastructure and commit to the shared vision to deliver energy to rural communities.

Addressing a press conference ahead of the infrastructure dialogue slated for Thursday in Abuja, the Managing Partner of DPH Limited, Dr. Onuoha Nnachi, said government should set the stage with policies that modernize agricultural system.

He said, “No single government, company or organization can tackle the infrastructure gap alone. Public -Private Partnership are essential to pool resources, share risks, and amplify results.’

Speaking further, the Managing Partner said, “Government can set the stage with policies that incentivise green energy and modernize agricultural systems, something like tax credits for solar-powered irrigation or subsidies for climate-resilient crops.”

He also called on policy makers, business leaders, financiers, and citizens to commit to the shared mission. “Let us prioritise projects that deliver clean energy to rural areas,” he said.

“Let us fund the infrastructure that get crops from fields to markets. Let’s measure success not just in profit, but in people lifted up and ecosystems preserved,” he added.
