The Federal Government has again called on the private sector to show more interest in commercialisation of research finding in order to create jobs and reduce poverty in the country.
The Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu, said this in Abuja yesterday when a delegation from Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industry paid him a visit.

NASCO is now producing high density biscuits for children within ages 5 -10 years old based on FIIRO’s research, he said.
In her remarks,  the LCCI delegation’s leader, Mrs Ibitola Ggbogboade said the chamber was ready to partner with the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology to help government in diversifying the economy.
