Alhaji Ibrahim Shema said that it is time the media begin to focus attention on itself and expose the corrupt tendencies among media practitioners who are always reporting and highlighting cases of corruption among politicians and other public office holders.

Responding to the governor, Media Trust’s Editor-in-Chief spoke about the ‘No, thank You’ policy of the company which clearly discourages soliciting for and or offering bribes to journalists. He also added that “on a number of occasions, we have had to fire journalists who get involved in soliciting or taking bribes to do their job.’’.
