The Etisalat Flash Fiction Prize is geared towards encouraging amateur writers and providing exposure for them through competition.
The winner of the prize apart from exposure, gets £1000 (N296, 762.95), a Samsung Galaxy Note or an iPad, and publishing rights for an e-book. The first and second runner-ups will receive Galaxy Note Pads as well.
