The ambassador who paid a visit to Nigeria’s Minister of Interior Comrade Abba Moro in Abuja on Monday said her country will assist Nigeria in training her security men and also provide equipment.
She stressed that the equipment which are world class, will help the security operatives to effectively withstand pressure in the fight against insurgency.
The ambassador said her country has the experience which she would like to share with the Nigerian government to enable it defeat the terrorists.
Responding, the minister said the two countries have come a long way since Nigeria’s independence saying that the assistance was timely.
The minister directed the security agencies under the Interior ministry to commence negotiations with the delegations on their various areas of interest.
