Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State on Thursday, October 23, 2025, joined other members of the National Economic Council (NEC) at its 152nd meeting held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting, presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima, also had in attendance President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who presented a proposal on the revitalization of training institutions for security agencies across the country.

Following the President’s presentation, NEC constituted a committee chaired by Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, to develop a comprehensive blueprint for the overhaul and modernization of training facilities for the Nigeria Police Force and sister agencies. The committee has one month to submit its report.
