Fintiri dissolves board of Adamawa United

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has approved the dissolution of the management Board of Adamawa United Football Club.

A press release issued by the governor’s Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, indicated that the development was necessary to reinvigorate the football club.

The statement further noted that the governor thanked members of the past management for their contribution, adding that the dissolved management should hand over all government property in their possession to the sports ministry. 

“Governor Fintiri commended the management for working hard to nurture the club and take it to where it is today. Government will not allow the club go down but will ensure it consolidates on the gains so far”, the statement read.

According to the statement, the urgent need to inject fresh blood and reinvigorate in order to restore the lost glory of the club informed government’s decision”.
