Fire has reportedly gutted a bakery house opposite the Central Mosque in Zuba, Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT.
A resident of the area, Shuaibu Abdullahi, said the incident happened on Thursday evening around 4:12 pm.
He said the fire, which cause, is yet to be ascertained, burnt down the entire bakery, even as he said no life was lost in the inferno.
He said, “There was no electricity at the time the fire broke out. It was one of the workers, who saw a thick smoke billowing from the roof that raised an alarm.”

Abuja Metro also learnt that the fire broke out when workers were working inside, forcing them to rush out as the fire ranges.
Firefighters from Tugan Maje, which is one kilometre to Zuba, later arrived at the scene to put out the fire, even though the building had already been consumed by the inferno.
