A Mining Company in Nigeria, Elipse International Limited, based in Jos, has mourned the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari who died on Sunday evening in London.

Describing the late Buhari as an emblematic figure, the Executive Officer (CEO), of the company, Mr. Denzel Henry Akogwu said the late President was honest, and dedicated to effective leadership.

“An era shaped by integrity, patriotism, and uncommon sacrifice,” Akogwu said in a statement he personally signed on Sunday night.

“With the passing of President Buhari, Nigeria bids farewell to one of its most emblematic figures of honest and dedicated leadership.

“He is an unparalleled patriot who, after a distinguished career in the military, returned through democratic means to continue serving the country with honour and commitment”, he said.

The Mining boss expressed deep sorrow over the death of Buhari, and condoled with his family, President Bola Tinubu, and Nigerians in general.

“We received the news of Buhari’s passing with profound shock and sadness.

“His death is a monumental loss not just to his immediate family but to the nation at large”, he said.

He further described Buhari’s tenure as a notable track record, especially over his determined stance against corruption and indiscipline, adding that it was a principle he upheld both as a military head of State and as a democratically elected President.

He said Buhari’s legacy was a moral compass for transparent and accountable governance that will continue to inspire generations of leaders across Nigeria and Africa.

While mourning with President Tinubu, Nigerians, and the Buhari family, Elipse prayed for the peaceful repose of the late President’s soul.
