A technology firm, TreepzNG Limited, has introduced an app that aggregates bus transportation service providers and also enables prospective travellers to buy tickets on the app.

The app, named Treepz, which was launched in Abuja, is aimed to ease buying of bus tickets or  hiring of buses for occasions or journeys.

Speaking at the launch, Mr Onyeka Akumah, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, said Treepz would allow commuters to book the cheapest city rides and inter-state bus tickets within Nigeria, adding that the app was recently launched in Ghana.

“Treepz, formerly known as Plentywaka, is Nigeria`s first and largest bus aggregator network. We boast of over 50-million brand reach (including eyes from the international audience),” he said.

“Over 300 bus routes within our network, and over 50,000 completed rides since April, TreepzNg is a technology transport company aimed at building the largest shared mobility startup in West Africa,” he added.
