QuickAir, an aviation technology solutions provider has announced a comprehensive corporate restructuring and the relaunch of its domestic Global Distribution System (GDS) specifically designed for Nigerian travel agents.

The company also appointed a new leadership team to spearhead its ambitious expansion plans in the Nigerian aviation sector.
Engr. Suleiman Ibrahim was recently elected the new Chairman of QuickAir Networks Ltd, bringing over two decades of experience in technology infrastructure and aviation systems.
Dr. Segun Oyebolu assumes the dual role of Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, while Mr. Muyiwa Amoo joins as Executive Director, Finance & Administration.
The relaunched GDS platform offers Nigerian travel agents real-time access to domestic flight inventory, competitive pricing, and seamless booking capabilities across all major Nigerian airlines.
“Our restructuring represents a strategic pivot to better serve the Nigerian aviation market,” said Ibrahim.
“With the relaunch of our domestic GDS, we are democratizing access to flight inventory and empowering travel agents with world-class technology that was previously unavailable in this market.”
He also apologised for the temporary suspension of operations in December 2022.
“I want to personally reassure all our existing customers that their wallet balances will be fully restored. This is not just a promise but a commitment we are backing with immediate action. Customer trust is paramount to us, and we are taking all necessary steps to ensure a seamless transition for our valued partners,” he said.
Dr. Segun Oyebolu, Deputy Chairman/CEO, emphasized the platform’s potential impact: “QuickAir’s GDS will revolutionize how travel agents operate in Nigeria. By providing a unified platform that aggregates domestic flight options, we’re reducing booking time by up to 70% and significantly improving the customer experience.”
The new GDS platform features include real-time seat availability, instant confirmation, multi-airline fare and schedule comparison, and integrated payment solutions supporting multiple Nigerian payment methods. The system is designed to handle over 10,000 concurrent users and process transactions within seconds.
