The Secretary to the Government of Adamawa State, Barrister Auwal Tukur, on Saturday bid farewell to the intending pilgrims at Yola International Airport.

Addressing the pilgrims before their departure, Auwal urged them to conduct themselves peacefully and with discipline throughout the pilgrimage, stressing the need for them to be worthy ambassadors of the state and Nigeria at large.

He also prayed for their safe journey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a successful Hajj exercise.

The 2026 Hajj exercise is expected to witness thousands of Muslim faithful from across Nigeria travelling to the holy city of Makkah to perform the annual pilgrimage.
