The first return flight conveying 425 pilgrims from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) who performed this year’s hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia, has arrived.
The flight marked the beginning of the return phase of the 2025 hajj operations coordinated by the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.
Confirming the arrival, the Board reassured families and loved ones that efforts were underway to ensure a smooth and timely return of all the remaining pilgrims in the coming days.
According to the officials, the second return flight is scheduled for today, June 23.

The Board further stressed that logistics and coordination challenges are being addressed to prevent unnecessary delays.
