First batch of Kaduna pilgrims have returned home from Saudi Arabi after successfully completing the 2018 hajj exercise.
The Public Relations Officer of the Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Yunusa Abdullahi, made the disclosure in a statement in Kaduna on Sunday.
He said the first flight arrived Kaduna International Airport at the early hours of Sunday with 560 pilgrims via Max Airline.
He expressed delight that the pilgrims arrived with their luggage and were given 5 litre of Zamzam water at Hajj Transit Camp, Mando.
“About 3, 237 pilgrims performed the hajj from Kaduna State this year. We prayed for a hitch-free airlift back home,” he said.
