The airlift of over 3000 pilgrims from Lagos State was yesterday flagged off at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
The first batch of the pilgrims were airlifted by Med-view Airline directly to Madinah in the morning while the second aircraft took off in the afternoon.
Over 9000 pilgrims are expected to be airlifted by the airline from Lagos.
According to the Managing Director of the airline, Alhaji Muneer Bankole, the airlift of Lagos pilgrims is expected to end on Wednesday.
