First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N100 million to the Christians Northern Nigeria Political Forum(CNNPF), as she flagged-off the distribution of food items in Kaduna for Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Speaking at the event, Senator Tinubu commended the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political and Other Matters, for organizing the programme.
The First Lady disclosed that the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Matters, Alhaji Ibrahim Masari, 48,000 bags of 25kilogrammes of rice for everyone and transport fare.
Senator Oluremi Tinubu disclosed that because she doesn’t believe in free lunch, she also gave an addition N100 million to the Christian Northern Nigeria Political Forum.
The First Lady of Nigeria also called other well-meaning Nigerians and organizations across the country to emulate the gesture.
She noted that the ‘’ intervention reflects a deep understanding of the needs of our people, especially at a time when many families are making preparations to celebrate the season of love, joy, and hope.’’
According to her, the ‘’gesture of solidarity goes a long way in showing appreciation to the members of the Christians Northern Nigeria Political Forum who have been with us before the inception of this administration.’’
The First Lady noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ‘’is anchored on inclusion, compassion, and opportunity, ensuring that all Nigerians, irrespective of their status, are supported to thrive and achieve their full potential.’’
Senator Oluremi Tinubu called on ‘’Nigerians to live in peace with one another and to be our brothers’ keepers. Let us remember that true nation-building is only possible where peace and harmony prevail.’’
The First Lady of Nigeria also thanked Governor Uba Sani for showing Nigerians how to live together harmoniously irrespective of religious affiliation or ethnicity.
Speaking at the event, the Kaduna State Governor said the ‘’ initiative is not just about giving; it is about showing care, lifting spirits, and sharing hope with those who need it most.’’
Governor Uba Sani pointed out that ‘’moments like this remind us that true leadership is measured by how we respond to the needs of the vulnerable in our communities.’’
According to him, the distribution of Christmas packages to Christian families across Northern Nigeria, stands as a powerful testament of Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s ‘’ deep sense of empathy, national service, and moral leadership.’’
‘’Through her philanthropy, the First Lady has not only raised the standard of giving in our nation but has also demonstrated an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of the poor, the vulnerable, and the underserved.

In his goodwill message, the Chairman of Christians Northern Nigeria Political Forum, Hon Ibrahim Idoko, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to inclusivity and national balance in leadership.
‘’The appointment of Professor Nentawe Yilwada as National Chairman of the APC and General Christopher Musa as Honourable Minister of Defence reflects a deliberate recognition of competence, patriotism, and the vital role of Northern Christians in national leadership,’’ he said.
According the Chairman, ‘’these appointments have inspired confidence, strengthened unity, and reaffirmed our collective sense of belonging in the Nigerian project.’’
He disclosed that CNNPF has evolved to properly align with the progressive ideals of the APC-led administration, adding that in the first and second quarters of 2026, it shall embark on a series of political summits across all Northern states.
Hon Idoko revealed that the aim of the summits is ‘’ to sensitise and mobilise our Christian brothers and sisters to actively participate in politics and governance as partners in nation-building’’
He called appealed to Northern Governors, through the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, to key into this noble initiative by supporting the planned engagements.
‘’By the third quarter of 2026, the Forum will commence zonal campaigns and robust media engagements in Hausa and other local languages to clearly communicate the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and reinforce why his leadership remains the best option for Nigeria’s continued progress.
‘’ This phase will culminate in the formal endorsement of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the 2027 General Election,’’ he disclosed.
