To achieve this, its Editor-In -Chief, Dan Unimna, in a press statement said the publication has on board experienced names in print journalism which include Kunle Somorin as its editor, Musa Simon Reef, Group Head, online operations and Ewache Simon as head of Business and Economy respectively.
He said: “Our brand promises to be exciting, engaging and influential in delivering news, commentaries, features and opinion on issues of local, continental and global affairs”
He added that FirstAfricaNews, which started publication a month ago, would promote excellence in investigative news reporting, and uphold the primacy of truth and freedom. He noted that it would also promote national unity, cohesion and the nation’s democracy. “We promise to serve news and information in a fresh way, timely and at all times factually,” he said
The Editor -In -Chief stated that the publication would take advantage of the current growth in information and communication technology to deliver a rich blend of news content in a fair, unbiased, fearless, authoritative and educative style.
