First Bank Nigeria Plc has launched a Digital Experience Centre for its customers in Edo State.
Daily Trust reports that the centre located at the University of Benin (UNIBEN) Ugbowa’s branch of the bank is the first to be launched in the state.
Speaking during the commissioning, the bank’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Olusegun Alebiosu, said the centre is like a banking hall where one can access all the banking services.
Alebiosu who disclosed that Ugbowo’s centre is the 9th across the country, described it as an exceptional feat in the bank’s commitment towards innovation in the banking service.
“At the centre customer can access services like opening of account, change phone number, statement of account, make complaint, do cash withdrawal, make deposit, get ATM card among others.
“Our centres are more than banking hubs, they are gateways to better, smarter and more personalised financial journeys equipped with cutting edge technology.
“Customers have access to state of the art self-services terminal designed to simplify transactions while ensuring top gear security and efficiency whether in depositing cash, request for debit card, update account details, among others.”
On his part, the Vice Chancellor, University of Benin, Prof Edoba Omorogie, commended the bank for creating more opportunity for digital experience in the institution’s campus.
He said institution’s students and faculties would take the benefit of the various platforms maximally and assured the banks of continuous partnership.
