Five people sustained injuries when another building collapsed in Onitsha, Anambra State yesterday.

The building at No. 44 Modebe Avenue, Odoakpu, Onitsha  caved in around 2.30pm. It came less than 24 hours after a three storey building collapsed in the same area, killing two persons while three others were injured.

Although no life was lost in yesterday’s incident, five women and girls were said to have sustained injuries.

The Chairman, Red Cross Society in Anambra State, Prof. Peter Katchy, said those injured were moved to Leeds Hospital for treatment.
