Flags are being flown at half mast at the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), in Oshodi, Lagos State, as officers mourn late Brigadier General Ogbole Audu James, who died in an auto crash inside the centre.
Recall that the deceased, who was the director of finance at the centre, was walking back to his residence on November 15, when a Toyota Highlander, EKY 177 FX, knocked him down, resulting to instant death.
Officers and personnel attached to the centre were in mourning mode yesterday with black wrist bands, while all social activities have also been suspended in honour of the deceased general.
A source told our correspondent that most drinking joints within the centre have been asked not to operate, while lectures have also been suspended.
