Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc has appointed Anders Kristiansson as its new chief finance officer, the firm said in a statement.

He obtained a Master of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics from Gothenburg University, Sweden.

Kristiansson also studied in both Canada and Germany.

He is a certified accountant with the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), certified in Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales (IFRS) and is an alumnus of London Business School Advanced Management Programme.

He was appointed after the resignation of Jacques Vauthier who has worked with the company for over seven years.

Kristiansson has previously worked in senior and executive finance positions in several multi-national organisations in Nigeria and across Africa.
