FMBN retreat was to identify constraints – Chairman

Chairman FMBN Board, Elder Bisi Ogunjobi, stated this at a press briefing at the end of a retreat and stakeholders forum recently held in Abuja.
He said the objective of the retreat to dialogue together towards identifying the various constraints. “We looked at our challenges together and then we tried to find solutions because there is no need to just talk about the problem which we have. We should be problem solvers and not just be part of the problem. We should be part of the team that is finding solutions to those challenges which we have raised.”
“The forum identified those constraints that those do not make us to deliver on affordable housing. Part of the problems belongs to you partly to us and to other stakeholders. I think it is important to look at it from this perspective and work closely together to resolve those issues and take our relationships to higher level.
The FMBN Chairman said, “We are looking at expanding the resource base of this institution so with need to increase our share capital but at the same time tapping or leveraging on external resources and to be able to do that we need a strong balance sheet I’m happy to say that over the last few years there has been significant improvement in our balance sheet.”
