The Chairman, Governing Board of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Keffi, Nassarawa State, Sule-iko Sadeeq Sami has commiserated with the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and the people of Kebbi State, on the death of its Director of Finance, Armed Forces Command and Staff College, AFCSC, Jaji, Air Commodore Suleiman Ismail Chonoko.

In a condolence message on Sunday in Kaduna, he described late Chonoko as a disciplined, honest, prudent and fine officer that has contributed to the vision of the Chief of Air Staff’s efforts of enshrining accountability in the NAF.

"We are deeply saddened by the death of this fine, disciplined and prudent gentleman whose legacies would live in the patriotic work he did as an Air Force officer," he said.

Chonoko died on Wednesday in Abuja , after a protracted illness and is survived by three wives and 11chirldren.

He has been buried according to Islamic rites.
