Dr. Aisha Shehu Adamu has assumed duty as the new Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Jalingo, Taraba State.
Dr Adamu while taking over from the outgone Acting MD, Dr Dangana Atta, expressed appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari for given her the opportunity to serve and promised to move the centre to the next level.
She said her vision was to transform the centre into a world class health facility operating in a conducive atmosphere with training and research as strong pillars. Dr Adamu solicited the supports of the hospital’s Board, management and staff in order to actualize set objective of efficient healthcare service delivery to the people. Chairman Board of Management of the Centre, Dr. Okay Ezea, who was represented by the State’s Commissioner for Health, Dr Innocent Vakkai urged the new MD to ensure utmost priority was given to health of the people of the state.
