The book is written by Prof. Paul Obo Idornigie, Head, Department of Commercial Law at the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS), Abuja.
Others expected at the book launch are Prof. Mohammed Akande of the Faculty of Law , University of Ilorin, who would review the book while the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr. Augustine Alegeh SAN, is the book presenter.
The Vice-Chancellor, University of Jos, Prof. Hayward Babale Mafuyai, is the special guest.
Prof Paul Obo Idornigie, the author holds a doctorate degree in International Commercial Arbitration; he is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (London); member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK);  London Court of International Arbitration, Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association,  Commonwealth Lawyers Association and Nigerian Association of Law Teachers.
He said that with the phenomenal growth in international trade and investment in Nigeria, the interest generated by alternative dispute resolution processes and judicial activism in extending the frontiers of arbitration in the country, especially on the issues of arbitrability and extent of court’s intervention in arbitral proceedings, the central theme of the book, would contribute to the existing literature in this area.
