He died at an undisclosed hospital in India after a protracted illness.
His close associate, Captain Bala Jibrin confirmed to Daily Trust on phone that the former deputy governor died around 4:00 am Nigerian time.
He said that the body of late Garba Gadi is expected in Nigeria and may probably be buried on Friday.
Late Gadi was deputy governor to former governor Isah Yuguda.
Before his death, he was a stalwart of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State.
