The Emir of Borgu, His Royal Highness Muhammed Haliru Dantoro has turbaned a former Business Editor of Media Trust Limited, Malam Anas Galadima as Wakilin Sadarwan Borgu.
The turbaning ceremony took place at the Sabuke Square in Borgu Local Government of Niger State yesterday according to a statement by Mohammed Bashir Adamu.
Adamu said the Emir of Borgu urged all the citizens conferred with various titles to unite and develop Borgu emirates.
“I am grateful to the Emir and people of Borgu for finding me worthy of this title. I will continue to work towards the development of all the Emirates of Borgu land across Kwara and Niger States. Many of the people in New Busa are relatives, in-laws and family friends of ours. So, I feel at home,” Galadima was quoted to have said in the statement.

Anas Galadima is the son of the late Galadima of Kaiama, Alhaji Adamu Sabi Galadima, who himself was the son of Muhammadu Samari Galadima, the first Galadima of Kaiama.
Galadima holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Master of Arts Degree in Communications, Media and Public Relations from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom.
