Former General Manager, Commercial Printing Division of Media Trust Ltd, the Publishers of Daily Trust newspaper Abdullahi Hassan Kofar Sauri has been appointed Managing Director/Editor-In-Chief of the newly established Umaru Musa Yar’adu University Press Ltd. Katsina.
Born in 1959 in Katsina town, Kofar Sauri, graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1982 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He returned to the  same school and earned his Masters in 1987 in the  same discipline.
With over 25 years experience in the publishing and printing Industry, Kofar Sauri had worked in different capacities in various publishing and printing firms amongst which are:” Admin Manager, TODAY Communications Ltd, Publishers of TODAY newspaper; Abuja, General Manager, Gaskiya Corporation/Northern Nig. Publishing Co.
Zaria, Managing Director, Ahmadu Bello University Press Ltd., Zaria and until recently, General Manager, Commercial Printing Division, Media Trust Ltd.’’
He is a member of Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM), a former council member of Nigeria Publishers Association and also a member of Chartered Institute of Professional Printers of Nigeria (CIPPON)).
He has attended many professional training programs both locally and abroad. He has also participated in many International Book Fairs and exhibition.
