The Inspire Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) is gaining ground as a platform for youth engagement in Nigeria through initiatives in entrepreneurship, voter education and leadership training.

Founded by Rabiu Hassan Lawal, the organisation has in recent years introduced programmes aimed at empowering young people to participate more actively in national development. According to the group, its projects are designed to build practical skills, foster civic responsibility and encourage innovation among youths.

The foundation said its outreach has received recognition from community leaders and institutions across the country, citing its voter education campaigns and entrepreneurship workshops as examples of impact-driven initiatives.

IYDF also stated that it aligns its activities with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), giving its programmes a global dimension.

Lawal said the foundation is working to bridge the gap between young people at the grassroots and decision-makers at the national level. “Our goal is to ensure that Nigerian youths are both heard and equipped to take charge of their future,” he said.

The foundation noted that it plans to expand its partnerships with government and private sector organisations to scale up its programmes in the coming years.
