The conference seeks to interrogate 100 years of Islam in corporate Nigeria with reference to religion, law, politics and society all at the border of development.
The formal opening ceremony of the conference holds at the University Auditorium next Monday, November 24, 2014 under the chairmanship of the Executive Secretary, Muslim Ummah of South-Western Nigeria (MUSWEN), Professor Daud O. Noibi, MBE. The keynote speaker is the former President of the Association of African Universities (AAU) and Secretary General, NSCIA, Professor. Is-haq O. Oloyede, OFR.
The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, will be the grand host; Vice-Chancellor, University of Ilorin, Prof. Abdul Ganiyu Ambali, OON will be the chief host while the host is Mallam Aliu Badmus, National Coordinator, Islamic Welfare Foundation.
Academic papers to be presented by seasoned and budding scholars at the conference will be peer-reviewed with quality ones published.
