The MedicAid Cancer Foundation will soon hold an awareness walk and stage play as part of activities to mark this year’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
A statement from the organization said the two programmes are slated for Saturday, 22nd October.
The walk will commence at 7.00a.m. in the morning while the stage play – titled ‘The Fight’, will hold in the evening of the same day at the theatre of the National Universities Commission.
The stage play will feature A-list Nigerian actors like Richard Mofe-Damijo, Joke Silva, Francis Duru, Toyin Aimakhu amongst others.
MedicAid Cancer Foundation was founded by Dr. Zainab S. Bagudu, the Wife of the Governor of Kebbi State – a Pediatric Consultant and the CEO of MedicAid Radio-Diagnostic Center Abuja.
The eight-year-old foundation was established to screen, treat and advocate for cancer patients. It has raised funds for the support and treatment of cancer patients in the various geo-political zones and conducted free cancer screening for thousands throughout Abuja, Maiduguri, Zamfara and Kebbi.
