Four lucky Globacom subscribers have emerged as the first set of winners in the company’s exciting “Play Up” lottery, taking home a total of N4 million, with each receiving N1 million.
The lottery combines fun and entertainment with the chance to win life-changing cash rewards.
At a special presentation ceremony held in Lagos, the four winners drawn from different parts of Nigeria were celebrated by the telecommunications firm.
One of the winners, Edward Worgu, a 48-year-old engineer from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, described his win as a blessing that came at the perfect time.
“At first, I couldn’t believe it, but after speaking with a very persistent Glo customer care representative, I decided to travel to Lagos. It turned out to be true. My wife is currently hospitalized, so this money will greatly help with her treatment. Kudos to Glo,” he said.
Another winner, Akindele Ayenugba, 68, from Ondo State, called his experience nothing short of miraculous.
“I traveled from Ondo despite financial challenges. Initially, I was skeptical, but when I got to the Glo office and people started congratulating me, I realized it was real. Indeed, God is great,” he expressed.
For Esobe Ugwuogo, 39, from Owerri, Imo State, the win was the result of persistence.
“I’ve been playing for a while, so getting that call made me so happy. Thank you, Globacom for bringing so much joy. I’ll keep spreading the word about this opportunity. Glo truly delivers on its promises,” he said.
Akintayo Boluwatife, 28, from Ibadan, Oyo State, who described his win as “life-changing and unforgettable.”
“This gift from Glo couldn’t have come at a better time. It will make this festive season extra special,” he said.
