But Thursday, information gathered showed that the husband was sighted at the new governor’s office but the wife was still in the custody of the kidnappers at an unknown location.

Also, in Ikole Ekiti, a lawyer R. K. Olaiya and his wife, were confirmed to have been kidnapped last Wednesday and were taken to an unknown destination.

Mr Dele Omotosho, the NBA chairman in Ado-Ekiti, who confirmed the reports, said the lawyer with the Ministry of Justice Ekiti State, is suppose to have a court case to defend before he was kidnapped in the town .

Omotosho said they have not established any contact with the kidnappers but they are demanding a N10 million ransom before the lawyer and the wife would be set free.

Moreso, the daughter of the paramount ruler in Ilawe Ekiti, Miss Adeyemi Adedoyin, 15, who was kidnapped with her mother, Olori Deborah, is yet to be released at the lion den, as her kidnappers are demanding for a N10 million ransom.

Debunking the gale of kidnapping in the state, the Acting Commissioner of Police in the state, DSP Fabian Ojiri, dismissed the kidnapping gale across the state.
