Fregene spoke in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) at the National Stadium, Surulere.

He said that the Super Eagles would win well if they played to Coach Samson Siasia’s instructions.

“As a Nigerian, I believe we are going to qualify, only if the boys will be committed to playing according to the coach’s game plan, ’’ Fregene said.

The former Flying Eagles assistant coach advised Siasia to field players who are fit and committed in Sunday’s match in Antananarivo to ensure victory.

“The players in Madagascar are capable of giving the team the needed three points; the only thing that is needed is dedication on their part,’’ Fregene said.

He said that the Nigerian team would not be intimidated by the overhauling of the Madagascan team due to their poor outing at the recently concluded Indian Ocean Games. (NAN)
