From the concrete courts of the ancient city of Kano to the global hardwood in Asia, Somto Patrick, Nigeria’s National Champion of the maiden edition of the FGI Fury 1v1 Hoop Championship Series, has risen from grassroots glory to international recognition.

Today, he’s gracing the FIBA U-16 Qualifiers in Bahrain (Middle East, Asia) with composure, talent, and quest to become world star in basketball, Somto didn’t just win games, he earned his place in the league of Africa’s next elite talents. His drive, skill, and basketball skills are now turning heads at the global stage.

Considering the abundant talents in Nigeria, young basketballers oozing with raw talents to be shaped into world beaters in the dunk and slam sports are hoping for platforms to showcase their basketball skills.
