The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has debunked reports alleging that its personnel demanded a bribe from Mr. Shebb Ugochukwu.

This was contained in a statement released on Wednesday in Abuja by the Corps Public Education Officer (CPEO), Olusegun Ogungbemide.

Ogungbemide described the publication as “misleading, mischievous, and a calculated attempt to tarnish the image of the Corps.”

He clarified that the allegation was linked to a 2022 traffic incident involving Mr. Ugochukwu, who was lawfully stopped and booked for verifiable traffic violations. These violations, he said, included the use of worn-out tires and the absence of a spare tire. (NAN)
